Busier Than I Thought I’d Be

I used to think retirement meant endless relaxation — slow mornings, empty calendars, and coffee in my pajamas until noon. But one year in, I’ve realized I’m busier than ever! From 5:30 a.m. wake-ups to rehearsals, gardening, grocery deliveries, and even launching The Retired Widow YouTube channel, my days are full — and wonderfully so. My dad always said retirement would keep you on your toes. Turns out, he was right.
